Drakes room....

Drake took a look at Nicki at the bottom of the bed and he giggled a bit as he watched her sleep. He got up put on his slippers and a shirt so he could walk her back up to her condo.

"Nicki? Hello Nicki."

"Huh." Nicki said sitting up wiping at her face making sure she wasn't drooling or anything.

"The movie went off. Tyga is gone now and forty is sleeping I was going to walk you back up to your condo so we both could get to sleep too."

"Oh did I go to sleep?"

"Yeah like half way into the movie. I went to talk to you and got nothing."

"Wow your bed is comfortable I did not expect that."

"Lol a bed fit for a king."

"Don't be cocky boy." She said slipping on her shoes.
Nicki and Drake walked up the stairs to her condo. Nicki turned at the door knob and it was locked.

"Shit! the door is locked."

"Yeah you would think that's what your key is for."

"No Safaree left with the keys so I'm locked out."

"Well tell him to come back."

"I told him it was OK if he stayed they had a tornado warning where he was."

"Oh well you can stay with me for the night ill sleep on the couch and you can have my bed."

"No I don't wanna kick you out of your room ill sleep on the couch."

"No you will take the bed ill be fine."He said taking her hand as they went back down the stairs.

Drake opened the door and led her back to the room he gave her a shirt and a pair of jogging pants he could no longer fit.

"Here you can wear these to bed jeans are uncomfortable to sleep in."

"And so are..."

"Huh."

"Nothing." She said giving him a big smile as he closed the door so she could get dressed.

"So are these." She said holding up the sweat pants slipping them on.

Nicki crawled under the silk sheets and grabbed the huge remote to his TV. She pressed the power button only to find like five screens pop up. Now what in the hell! She thought to her self trying to remove the screens pushing every button but the right one. She finally pushed the right button and the screen went to one box. She pushed another button and the porn channel popped up. Ok you know what.. She thought trying to change the channel. Oh shit. No no no no no. that's the volume not the channel button Nic. He gone think you a freak.

Drake stood at the door listening to her talk to her self. He fell to the floor laughing when he heard what was going on.

"Hey Nicki?" He said collecting him self off the floor.

"Hey umm what?" She said trying to remove the porn from the TV.

"Just wondering if you good?"

"Yes I'm ...... Ha! I win..!" She said finding the channel button.

"What?" He said pretending to be confused.

"I mean I'm fine."

"Did you want me to show you how to work the remote? Its a little high tech."

Shhhiiiittttt a little ain't the word. And nicca where was you like 5 minutes ago when I needed help. I bet you listened to the whole thing laughing at my black ass. She said talking to her self.

"Yes that would be great."

Drake opened the door. Nicki sat in the middle of the large bed looking like it swallowed her little body. She lay under the covers with her bun at the top of her head the big remote in her lap and her glasses on her face. Drake blinked once he saw her. She was even more flawless without all the make up flashy clothes and her hair in a messy bun. He broke his trance and joined her on the bed.

"This bed is huge don't you get lost in it?"

"Nope its just right for me."

"You never feel like its too much or ever feel alone in it?"

"Nope well the alone thing yeah but when that right one comes it will be perfect for the both of us." He said tapping at her nose with his finger.

Nicki smiled and pulled the covers up some more.

"OK let me show you how to work this thing. Believe it or not it took me 3months to learn how to fully work it my self."

"Why would you want something so complicated then?"

"Well I got this TV when I was on Degrassi it was like my first gift to my self that and that bed your nice and comfortable in. I was a kid it looked cool so I got it."

"Don't we all have those kinds of stories." She said in a sarcastic tone.

Drake laughed and begin to show her how to use the remote.

The movie Nicki was watching was coming to an end and Nicki now wanted water to put on the dresser so she could finally go to sleep. Nicki liked to wake in the middle of the night and drink water so she always had a glass or a bottle by her bed. She remembered that drake had bottles of water sitting on the floor in the kitchen so she figured she would help her self to a bottle or two. Nicki opened the door and took a peak down the hall. She heard the TV but could see no other lights but the one from the TV. She tip toed down the hall and took a look at the couch before going into the kitchen. She could see Drake half on the couch and half on the floor. Aww such a gentlemen . She said to her self turning to walk into the kitchen. She grabbed two water bottles and made her way out the kitchen. Before she could exit she dropped the water bottle on the wood floors. Shit Onika why you gotta be so damn clumsy. She said picking up the water bottle.

"Who's Onika?" Drake said wiping at his face.
"
Huh? I'm sorry did I wake you."

"Yeah but I'm good TV needed to be turned off. Who's Onika?"

"Oh that's my government name."

"Oh OK I was thinking since people called you Nicki your real name was Nicole or something."

"Yeah that's what most people think."

"Thirsty?" He said pointing at the water bottles.

"Well no I kinda have this thing where I like to drink water in the middle of the night."

"Oh don't trip I have this thing where I eat candy in the middle of the night."

"Really?"

"Yeah." He said pointing at the candy on the floor by the couch.

"You know you don't have to sleep on that little couch you can come in the bed."

"No I'm fine he said sitting back on the couch."

"No you will hurt my feelings if you continue to try to fit your body on that couch again."

"Ill hurt your feelings?"

"Well I did not know what else to say. I mean come on you saw me in that bed its wayyyyy to big. We can build like a I don't know a wall with all the pillows you have."

"OK that will work." He said grabbing his bag of candy turning off the TV.

"Hey Drake?"

"Hey what." Drake said trying to get comfortable on the other side of the wall.

"Why are you single?"

"What?"

"I mean like your a great guy you can cook you keep things clean your a gentleman like who in their right mind wouldn't want to be with you?"

"I don't know. I guess its because when I was doing Degrassi I did not have time for girls. It was me either being on set or getting rest. There was no going out having fun. My career was important to me making a way for my family was important to me. But can I ask you a question Nicki?"

"Yeah shoot?"

"Why are you single?"

"Because I have sorta kinda trust issues. Ive been with alot of guys that have did me dirty. Some only wanting one thing others just asses for no reason. I just haven't found that guy."

"Well what about Safaree?"

"That's just my best friend I couldn't imagine us being anything other than that. right now I feel is one of the few men I can trust with my heart."

"Oh OK I understand. Do you ever think that you could love again though?'

"Yeah one day. She said staring at the wall built by the pillows."

"That's good at least your open to it." He said staring at the wall made by the pillows.

Drake and Nicki both drifted into a deep sleep.

"Nnnniiiiccckkkkiiiiii. Nicki! Wake up sleeping beauty. Dang what did dreamer boy do to you last night?"

"Safaree?" Nicki said wiping at her eyes.

"Yeah. What did you think it was dreamer boy?"

"No I knew it wasn't your too ignorant clown." She said hitting him with a pillow.

"What ever not everybody can be Prince Charming OK. Some girls think ignorance is fly." He said fixing his jacket.

"Mmmhmmm dumb girls. How did I get in my bed?"

"Oh I knocked on Drakes door when I ain't see you in here. I figured yo had to go to the safest place. When I walked out to go down the stairs drake was coming back from his car. He told me he'd carry you up. I said OK cuz you not light no more. And that's how you got there."

"Oh OK I knew you ain't bring me up here cuz if you did I would have never made it this far."

"Nope your right you would know just how soft the carpet was."

"Ass!"

"Ha I wear it as a badge of honor."

"I cant stand yo black ass."

"So how was your night with dreamer boy."

"I don't know I found out hes sweet."

"Oh you did. Is Onika getting soft for the kid."

"I don't know maybe?" She said grabbing her toothpaste for the duffel on the floor."

"Maybe? After chilling with guy one night. Onika come here are you sick?" He said pulling her back down to the bed checking her temperature.

"No I'm fine!" She said pulling away.

"With the storm and all we just had a lot of time to talk and get to know one another is all." She said walking off to the bathroom.

"She sounds a little sickly to me doc." Safaree teased in a weird voice.

"I'm not sick I'm fine." She said taking a look at her phone as it rang.

Good morning beautiful. Just so you know I did not kick you out or anything like that Wayne has those rules and Safaree came at the right time because it was about that time for me to get ready to go to the studio. I had fun learning new things about you. Maybe one day it can happen on purpose?" ~Drake
